DIY Kits

A kit lets you build the suit around your own terrain, your own build, and the way you actually hunt. It is also how most serious ghillie users end up with a suit that works.

These kits start from a BYO base garment, jacket, pants, boonie hat, or poncho, and pair it with pre-blended jute or synthetic thread in a color mix for your ground. You tie in as much or as little as you want, add to it over time, and repair it yourself in season instead of shipping it back to somebody.

We have been selling kits since 1996, and we wrote the build guide most people learn from. If you have not built one before, start with the thirteen-step How to Build a Suit walkthrough, then come back and pick your base and your thread.

Not sure how much material you need? A full jacket takes noticeably more thread than a boonie hat or a blind cover, and the color mix matters more than the amount. Call before you order and we will tell you what to buy rather than selling you extra.
