Shipping policy

Processing time

Most products normally ship in 1–2 business days. BDU items usually take about 5 days to build when the base BDU garments are in stock. If we need to source your selected pattern and size, additional time is required. Build time does not include carrier transit. Contact us before ordering if you need gear for a specific trip or date. Other custom and made-to-order items take longer, and we confirm the timeline with you directly before we begin.

Shipping locations and carriers

All jute items, BDU products and Boonie hats ship from California via UPS, regardless of whether the BDU or Boonie camouflage uses jute or synthetic thread. Other synthetic ghillie suits, kits and accessories ship from Sweetwater, Tennessee. Orders fulfilled from different locations may arrive in separate shipments.

APO/FPO military addresses

For California-built jute items, BDU products and Boonie hats going to an APO/FPO address, we first ship by UPS to Sweetwater, Tennessee, then ship onward by USPS. Contact us before placing an APO/FPO order to confirm the shipping arrangements for your items.

Shipping rates

Rates are calculated live at checkout by UPS and USPS based on the weight and dimensions of your order and your delivery address. Available carrier services and any applicable handling charges are shown at checkout before you pay.

Delivery estimates

Domestic delivery typically takes three to seven business days after processing, depending on the service selected. International delivery typically takes seven to twenty-one business days after processing. These are carrier estimates, not guarantees. Customs inspection can add time that is outside our control.

Where we ship

We ship across the United States, including APO and FPO addresses, and to most countries worldwide.

A small number of destinations are excluded. Camouflage and military-pattern apparel is restricted or prohibited for civilians in some countries, and US export rules bar shipments to others. In those cases the parcel is seized at the border, not returned, and the customer loses both the goods and the shipping cost. Rather than let that happen, we do not offer checkout to those destinations at all.

If your country is not available at checkout and you believe it should be, email us at todd@ghilliesuits.com and we will look into it.

Duties, taxes, and customs

International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, and brokerage fees charged by the destination country. These are the customer's responsibility and are not included in the price or shipping charge at checkout. We are required to declare the full order value on the customs form and cannot mark shipments as gifts or declare a reduced value.

If a parcel is refused or abandoned at customs, we can refund the product cost only, less any shipping and fees already incurred.

Lost and delayed parcels

Once a parcel leaves our facility it is in the carrier's hands. If tracking stops updating for more than seven business days domestically, or fourteen internationally, contact us and we will open a carrier investigation. We will not abandon you to the carrier, but carrier timelines for claims are theirs, not ours.

Address accuracy

Please check your shipping address at checkout. We are not able to reroute a parcel once it has shipped, and carrier address-correction fees are passed on to the customer.
