Ghillie Jackets

A jacket is the most useful single piece of ghillie gear most hunters own. Your upper body and head are what a deer or a bird actually picks out, and a jacket covers both without committing you to a full suit.

It also layers. You wear it over whatever you already have on, so one jacket works from early-season heat into late-season cold and you are not buying a suit per season. For bow hunters that matters twice, since a jacket keeps the string clear in a way a full suit does not.

Available in jute for maximum depth and synthetic for light weight and quick drying, in BDU cut for durability and in ultralight builds for covering ground. If you are only buying one piece, buy the jacket.
